Clavichord koncert: Lars Colding Wolf

Lars Colding Wolf trained as an organist at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg, and as a harpsichordist, debuting in 2002, after studying under Lars Ulrik Mortensen. He teaches harpsichord, organ and chambermusic at the academy in Aarhus. After 26 years as an organist at Sct. Catharinæ Church in Hjørring, he was appointed organist at Sankt Markus Church in Aalborg in 2024.
As leader of the Baroque orchestra, Ensemble Zimmermann (established in 2001), Lars has performed oratorioes, passions and a wealth of cantatas and instrumental concertos. Ensemble Zimmermann recorded a series of Baroque works from the Düben collection, titled “København tur/retur”. He has also recorded Bachs sonatas for violin and harpsichord with the recorder player Nikolaj Ronimus and Bach’s Clavier Übung III Teil on the Marcussen organ in Musikkens Hus, Aalborg. He assists in Aalborg Symphony Orchestra as harpsichordist and organist and he plays regularily on the concert hall organ in Musikkens Hus.
The clavichord has become a part of this musical routine, both in playing Baroque pieces and with a touch of newly written music for Nordjyske Unge Tonekunstnere. He owns an instrument built by Karin Richter and renovated by Joel Speerstra.
